"windows 7" Black Screen Solution
Frustrated? I installed a new interal bluetooth module on a Dell Inspiron 1720. i can move my cursor and click and open things. But I have to hit F12 everytime I startup which is not what I wanted, so, reading around, and I tried a solution that strangely enough worked. Check This Out
In the 'Load Hive' dialog box, navigate to the C:\Windows\System32\Config folder. I know I won't be doing and graphic card updates anymore, especially on the night I'm trying to do my taxes online. - If ctrl-alt-delete isn't working then this probably won't work for you.

I will keep trying the various hardware websites for newer drivers, and hopefully that will fix the issue again. We can only boot in safe mode, which works….but we cannot start up normally.
