I havn't had any problems with it so far. Just open Event Viewer and look at the System log! But when I stopped the Automatic Update service the SP3 install finished within a couple minutes. How can I slim my system? http://magicuresoft.com/windows-update/last-windows-update.html

The best option is to try to speed up the turnover rate of hotfix installs. I just installed the SP last night and was wondering about deleting the backup files. Anyway, keep them coming. Someone above had the right name for it. Windows Update Cleanup Tool if you see that it stops processing hotfixes you might need to kill the one that's hung up and it will continue.
